Phoenix
2009.12.08

It has been a while since the last update. Traveling caused this. First the quick up and down to London for Bonhomme\'s surprise party. This was fun. After that packing cases for my trip tp the west coast of the USA. AMS-SFO-RNO and finding myself in pretty cold weather in Reno. Was my first visit to this special place. I expected a kind of village, but Reno is as big as Amsterdam (800.000 people) its a gambling paradise.  We aviators only know Reno from the air races in september.
I met 2 friends there and we have been discussing nothing else but airplanes. :-) After Reno we flew to PHX at sunday. The South West 737 had to be de-iced before departure. Brrrrr
Fortunately the conditions in Phoenix were much better.....until yesterday. Do not forget, it is desert here. In one night we had more than one inch of rain.
So, this was a shorty update. Now I have to do home work. Learning about turbines.
