Glider pilots, Skydivers, Student pilots and the odd Aerobatic specialist.
Less that 1 1/2 week ago I decided to found the Friends of Airport Teuge group at FACEBOOK.
More than 400 members joined the group and we are not yet there! There will be much more, and specially more people living in the area of Teuge.
It is overwhelming to see how much support there is from people who realize that it is a blessing to have a small aerodrome in the area. An aerodrome which is great to visit with the kids. A super place to enjoy the activity and eat something in the restaurant. An airfield where young people learn how to fly, and after a few years they will fly you to your destination. And an airport where professionals go to work, and make money. I do hope that slowly the appreciation will come back with the administrations like the city of Apeldoorn, Deventer and Voorst, what the benefits are of an airport in the area.
At this rainy sunday I forecast that soon, the friends of Teuge group will have more than 1000 members. Join us!!!!!
