Learning and flying in Venice
2009.09.27

It has been a fantastic week. Flying in the mountains to prepair my mountain rating and crossing the Alps to Venice for an airshow at the Lido.
Bouncing around at the super short strips at the alti surfaces and the altiport was great. Refreshinbg the techniques required to operate safe in this hostile environment. (When it goes wrong you are in deep sh....)
The foto album gives a nice impression of the beauty of flying in the mountains. The flying itself and the techniques are interesting and after a full day of buzzing around you are quite tired. A beer (or two) are well deserved.
After 4 days, I flew from Annecy to Venice. Great pictures of this trip will be published soon. \"\"

The Mont blance at flight level 100.

Lido Aerodrome in Venice, what a superb location.
Venice airshow was cool. A real Italian style event. Good food, good wines, good flying, good fun!
