My first day in a new office.
Let me give you a short description. It is much bigger than my previous one, with much less horizon, and definitely much slower, however it IS cooler.
I am talking about the commentator office, called "The Box" Together with commentator Nick Fellows I have the privelidge to be the expert telling smart and clever things about air racing. An interesting job with a few side effects.
And as you will understand I am not a great fan of attending meetings. In aviation we call meetings, briefings, and we keep them very short. :-)

(The BOX, left under the tree) good view at the race track.
It is nice to explain the TV viewers about the details of air racing. It is a nice way to promote aviation and the protocols used in this sector. Riks management is the daily work of air race pilots.
Negative detail: I hate answering the same and most asked question again and again.
So I will give the answer in writing now and for the last time.
YES, I MISS IT! And YES IT HURTS!
So, been there, done it and got the T-shirt, now back to work!
In a bloody hot capitol of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.
